Summary: It Works!
Comment: Not a topic of "polite" conversation....what does one do when faced with an extremely painful carbuncle on one's posterior? I applied poultice of Icthamol ointment and a wet heat pack under the instruction of a medical intuitive. In 24 hours the ointment drew the poison to a head, and the carbuncle was extracted. This worked well for me as a drawing salve.
