Summary: Good Deal, Good Workout
Comment: I got mine today (12/31/2008) and assembled it easily. It's sturdy. You really can't do much without holding on, walking fast gets the belt going so fast it turns into running. I personally like going fast and running, but I don't think this is for all people. Nice incline for working the backend! Cheap and easy to assemble and takes up very little space. It's not that loud, really. Motorized treadmills are really loud.

Summary: Stamina InMotion II Manual Treadmill
Comment: The treadmill went together pretty easily. I did go and get some better tools than what was provided in the box. The instructions for tightening the belt were clear and that was pretty easy to do. It does not fold up small enough to store under a bed. At least not under my bed. It gives a pretty good workout once you get the belt adjusted. The is a slight incline and the grade is not adjustable. All in all, I'd say it was a pretty good value. Now if I'd only start using it!

Comment: Amazon is great at delivering on time. The machine is small, lighweight, and easy to put together (that's big for me since I am not the least bit mechanical). I love it. Comment: Treadmill is exactly the quality you would expect from Stamina. I am very pleased with the machine in all respects except the noise level. I have to wear my headphones with the music cranked up to tolerate it. Well worth the money and very fast shipping from Amazon.
I put a 2x6 under the rear feet (bumpers) to decrease the slope of the belt and increase the resistance for a better workout and slower pace.
Also, if you buy this treadmill make sure you get some silicone lubricant they recommend and you will be alot happier with the performance.

Summary: Great workout
Comment: Easier to put together than a Lego castle.
It's a little bit of a learning curve to get a comfortable, stable stride going on the incline. Kind of like learning to ride a bicycle. But once you get yourself balanced, it's cake. The incline is great for getting your heart going at a good, healthy pace.
The simple design is great too. If you're just looking for something to walk on, sans all the bells and whistles, this is a good buy (though there is a monitor that tells you your time, speed, distance, and calories burned).
The lightweight, compact construction is also good. I can set it in front of the TV and go at it. But if people want me to get out of the way, I can just pick it up and move it. Very maneuverable, as treadmills go.
Watch it when you move it, though. The bolt that holds the lower portion up when it's in storage-position is a little short. If you're not careful, the lower half comes loose and swings down.
The belt also might tend to drift. I'm still playing with tweaking mine into stability. But if you're lazy like me, and aren't too bothered by it, just keep an eye on it when you're walking. If it goes too far to one side, just lean and walk it back to the middle.
It's not a very quiet mechanism. It makes a sound like an agitated weed-eater. So if you're planning on exercising to the TV, don't expect it to be a very theatrical experience. But it will definitely make you feel like less of a couch-potato.
