This is the best medieval sword to ever come through our inventory. It is the classic William Wallace Replica Sword.

The sword is 51 plus inches long and comes with an authentic rough leather sheath that includes a strap to fit on your belt.

The blade is a polished stainless steel and it is double edged.

The hilt and pommel are made out of chrome plated steel. DO NOT CONFUSE THIS PREMIUM SWORD WITH ONE OF THOSE CHEAP IMITATIONS.

What really makes this authentic though is the brown leather that is stitched tightly around the handle and base of the blade just like the real swords were from Medieval Times.

Comment: If you're looking for a decoration to hang on your wall, you will probably be happy with this "sword". Real swords, on the other hand, are made of heat tempered carbon steel. The majority of swords on this site are not true swords, but rather sword like objects. You you were to take this one out and start swinging it, it could break because the blade is made of stainless steel, which gets brittle in lengths over 12". Don't use this for any type of test cutting, leave it on the wall where it belongs.

Comment: This was bought for my husband who is a huge Braveheart Fan. since my husband can trace his family back to Scotland, it helped to bring the history of his family alive for our two boys. For the price I paid for it, I think is was reasonable for his plans with it.

Comment: The delivery date was said to be between December 19 and January 2. This is a Christmas gift, so I was really worried that it wasn't going to make it in time. But to my surprised relief, my fiancée received it on December 18. Not only did he say that it was well made (realistic looking - the leather was a great touch - and a good size in length/width), but that it reminded him of something. I let him know it was a William Wallace replica and he knew instantly why it was familiar. He loved the movie Braveheart.

I would recommend this product (sold by DreamObjects - which I notice they keep changing the seller so I am not sure of the others) to anyone who has a love of swords and is Scottish at heart. I am completely satisfied. This company went over my expectations (in the product and service) and I will plan on using them in the future.
