Summary: SHOCKED at Elmo Live!!! (A child's thoughts)
Comment: Got Elmo live for Christmas. I was so excited when I took it out of its box! After 3 days, I was still playing with it and it works great! If you're a big Elmo fan, this is a must have for all ages. Not kidding! Even 9 years and up too if you still like Elmo. He has four activation points; his nose,belly,left foot, and his back. You can also buy tickle me Elmo and Hokey Pokey Elmo that would go perfect with ELMO LIVE! The only bad thing is that it might be annoying after a while if you're an adult! You can also hear the electronics a lot. But for the rest, he's the best toy you could ever get for your child! He can even ask to be picked up if he falls down. I think this is a great toy, and for the price, this is the best toy ever!

Comment: Bought Elmo for my Grandson, 20 months old. He was actually afraid of it but did blow kisses back when Elmo blew kisses. The adults enjoys Elmo a few times and then it just stopped working. We put in new batteries but it still does not work. Will be returning it and hope to get another one in its place.

Summary: Not a great toy- Not what expected
Comment: We are on our second Elmo Live, as the first one stopped working randomly after two days... (it would start talking and then stop mid sentence...)- Now after a few weeks (of less than average play), this one is doing the same. What is up with that?!... It is difficult for a child to pretend with this toy, because it talks SO much (it is very loud and gets really annoying quick too!- "Can you help Elmo up please" will become a very frequent sound in your house, as the toy falls over ALL the time!). We appreciate our family member for getting this toy (as our 19 month old son is a huge Elmo fan...)- but he really has not given this toy too much of a second glance after the first day. For the money, this toy is not worth it. It was a good thought, and really is pretty cool if you are just watching it work for 5-10 minutes, but thats about it.

Comment: I bought Elmo for my elderly mother who lives in a nursing home. She enjoys sharing him with visitors, especially young children, who come to see her and he inevitably elicits giggles and laughter from everyone. Mother has many "animated" toys, including another older version of Elmo, but this one is truly the ultimate.

Comment: The amount of work that went into this toy was incredible. Well Done. My 15 month old son got this from Santa and absolutely loved it. He carries it around with him even though it isn't that cuddly. He laughs when elmo laughs and dances when elmo dances. So cute!!
