Remember though, he's only a young robot so he will need help from you to give him commands using the remote controller. Requires eight "AA" and three "AAA" batteries, not included. Comment: I bought this WOW WEE Robot for my Grandson for Christmas and he loves it. Seems to be very durable. It is a packaging nightmare. Be patient uppacking WOW WEE. It has a lot of twist ties that are difficult to untie. I found it easier to cut them with a good pair of scissors. Once unpacked, it was fun--fun--fun. Downside --- It eats batteries. Best bet is to have three sets of rechargable batteris on hand.

Comment: Radio shack has this toy for 99.00, eve on black friday, after holidays sales price is same. Here on Amazon it was for 59.00, great buy, shipping was free, what can you say. My three year old loves it, he took it to his grandma's house and the robot actually said something about the carpet needs cleaning, she was surprised, it is great also for adults, breaks up those big family get togethers, watching this fella move around, he does recongize walls, table legs and so forth, worth the price for a gift.
