AND, the handle (loop at top) presses up against the child's nose while drinking- a potential minor discomfort issue- but it really has never bothered my child. I sure do, my 15 month old didn't want anything to do with any brand sippy cup I tried (ten brands in all so far) until on a whim I ordered this cup. He liked to play with my nalgene bottle so much I thought he might like that it looked like "mommy's cup". Well now he won't use anything else. The cup is very durable and easy to clean, doesn't leak at all- even when shaken upside down. My only complaint is the price is NOT what i want to pay for just a sippy cup but the product itself is great.
